CrewWind is a workforce-availability platform for the offshore wind industry. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
What we collect
For contractors: your name, contact details, primary and interested roles, work rights, home base and regions, equipment and experience, certifications and any proof documents you upload, competence appraisals, and your availability dates.
For recruiters and companies: your name, work email, company, and activity such as searches, shortlists and enquiries.
How we use it
To operate the service: to let recruiters and companies search for available, suitable contractors, and to let contractors keep their availability and profile current.
Contractor profiles are only shown to verified recruiter and company accounts, and you can hide your profile from specific companies or agencies at any time.
Legal basis
We process your data to provide the service you have signed up for (contract), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a trusted marketplace. Certification checks against third parties such as WINDA or Vantage are only carried out with your consent.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Approved certifications, verified competence and availability are shown to verified recruiter and company accounts as part of the service. We use trusted infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare) to host the platform.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing.
